FREE BUS DRIVER TRAINING IN FEBRUARY Bus Driver Ad

Caverna will offer free bus driver training.  Classes begin on February 5th at 5:00pm.

STLP

Congratulations to the STLP team on advancing to the State Competition in Lexington on April 12th. The Middle School Project, Super Sinkhole Saviors, was given a score of 97 out of 100. The middle school STLP students are Mailey Ford, Haleigh Dennison, Adrianna Merriweather, Kyle Hawkins, Kayla Wood and Alyssa Carter. The STLP Coordinator is CES Teacher, Rene Thompson.

Arts & Sciences Summer Camp

The Lighthouse Team is hosting a "Valentine's Dance" on Saturday, February 13th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Cave City Senior Citizens Center. (beside Cave City Police Department) The dance is for CMS students only! Tickets are $3.00 per person or $5.00 per couple. Advance tickets may be purchased in the office for $2.00 per person or $3.00 per couple. The attire will be formal. Free refreshments will be served and photos will be taken.

BOGO Scholastic Book Fair

CHS/CMS Library will be having BOGO Scholastic Book Fair April 14-18

BOOK FAIR

We will have a Scholastic Book Fair December 2-6 in the library at the High School. You can follow this link to place orders on-line beginning November 22.

 

 
We will be open December 2 during the basketball games beginning at 4:30 for the entire family to visit the Book Fair.

Incoming Freshman Orientation for 8th Grade Students

8th Grade Students and Parents-

 

Please make plans to attend our Incoming Freshman Orientation on Tuesday, April 26 at 5:30 p.m. in the CHS Cafeteria. We will discuss Class Schedules, Dual Credits, Student Actitivies, Graduation Requirements, and much, much more! You will also be able to tour the High School and meet the Teachers!

The elections will be held on Thursday, May 12 in the Caverna Middle School Office during school hours. (Caverna Middle School goal is 96% for all students)-

 

1st Quarter (October 14th)

Any student with 1 or less absences will be rewarded-

 

2nd Quarter (December 16th)

Any student with 2.5 or less absences will be rewarded-

 

3rd Quarter (March 10th)

Any student with 4 or less absences will be rewarded-

 

End of the year

All students with 96% attendance will be rewarded-

 

Teacher attendance goal is set at 97%.

All teachers with at least 97% attendance will be rewarded by the principal at the end of the school year.

CMS Jr. Beta Club Winners

The CMS Jr. Beta Club attended the State Beta Convention on February 17, 18 and 19th. Congratulations to Yasmeen Carver (8th Grade) for placing 1st in Jewelry and Kaylei Holt (8th Grade) for placing 3rd in Digital Photography.
