Purple Pride is returning!

Purple Pride is returning to CHS.

I would like to welcome everyone back to a new year at Caverna High School. We got our year off to a great start at our First Annual Back to School Tailgate event. The event was a huge success with more than 250 people attending. Students picked up their schedules and enjoyed the food and fellowship with their fellow schoolmates. We even had some alumni drop by just to see what was going on at the school.

I have spoken with many community members about the mission and vision for our school. Our goal is to be a top 10% school in the state in 3 years. The new school motto - "Proficiency is a goal...Excellence is our Expectation!"- speaks directly to the mission and vision. We are focused on developing excellence in every facet of our school. We push our students to be excellent in every endeavor that they undertake. The state may say that every student must be proficient but we are pushing our students beyond proficiency. Excellence is our expectation.

CHS is a community school. We need you to be involved in our school. Our PTSO is growing. We need parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and any alumni to be involved with our students. This is the only way that we will reach our goal of being a top 10% school.Our doors are always open. Come and visit us. Check out the alumni page on Facebook.
