Hi my name is Amy Ward-Neagle, and I am extremely excited about my new position this year at Caverna Elementary School as the new SPECIAL EDUCATION teacher. I will have students in kindergarten and second grades. These two grades are truly my passions.
Here is a brief bio of my teaching career & my family highlights. :) I have taught a variety of grade levels in the Caverna and Barren County school system as well as Montessori Academy of Glasgow throughout my twelve years of teaching. I earned a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree & Rank I certification from Western Kentucky University.
For the past eighteen years, I have lived with my family in Barren County. My husband, Troy, is a pharmacist, my oldest daughter, Presley, is a fifth grader at North Jackson Elementary, Tinsley, our middle child, is a fourth grader at North Jackson Elementary, and Brady, our youngest, will attend Montessori Academy of Glasgow as a kindergartener. We have a cat named Tabby and a Morkie named Maddy. We love animals!!!
My summer has included some new adventures. We traveled to New Orleans. I look forward to spending time at the beach on breaks. My family and I love to visit water parks and Disney. We also LOVE Halloween, it is one of our favorite holidays.
Well, that's enough about me. Please check back periodically for updates to my new page. I will be adding cool websites. Also, please stop in and visit. You are welcome anytime & I can definitely use volunteers.
Hope everyone has had a great summer. Welcome back for a super 2016-2017 school year at CES. Together we can provide a quality education that prepares students to be College and Career Ready Citizens.
