Mrs. Garrett began her first year at Caverna High School in August 2015. She teaches Algebra I, Algebra III, Math Special Topics, and Trigonometry, coaches cheerleading and sponsors the Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Club .
The 2016-17 school year marks the beginning of Mrs Garrett’s twenty-sixth year in education. She worked in the Kentucky Adult Education system for 20 years. The first seven of those years she was a math instructor for the Bowling Green Independent School District. The remainder of her time in adult education was as the Adult Program Director for the Barren County School District. Mrs. Garrett has also taught math at Metcalfe County High School and South Warren Middle School.
Mrs. Garrett and her husband Timmy have been married for 27 years and live in Glasgow along with their daughter, Cayli. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, shopping, cooking, and playing the piano.
