This is my third year at Caverna Elementary School. I love being a Caverna Colonel! I have lived in Kentucky for 4 years. I grew up in Western New York State. Prior to my move to Kentucky I lived in Ohio and Tennessee. My husband and I have been married for 4 years and live in Southern Barren County on a small farm.
I attended Western Kentucky University where I obtained a Bachelors of Science and Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education. During my time in Tennessee I attended Middle Tennessee State University and received a Bachelors of Science in Animal Sciences.
I believe that every student can achieve success at high levels. My goal is to provide students with "tools" and teach them how to use their "tools" to be successful in their lives. I have high expectations of my students and hold them accountable through the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood, Synergive and Sharpen the Saw.
I am here for your child! Feel free to contact me for any reason. Collaboration between parents and teachers will help meet the needs of your child as they learn and grow! We are a team! I look forward to a great year.
