I made this picture using programs on two different computers.  First, I used the Microsoft Paint program on a desktop computer.  On Paint, I used shapes for the sun, moon, Eart, and other planets.  I filled the planets with the color of the outlines that I used for them.  I edited some of the colors by adding different shades and highlights.  These make the planets look more realistic.  I used the pencil tool for the smaller details on the planets.  I also used the marker, airbrush, and crayon tools to make the clouds on the Earth.  To make the water, I used the curved tool and then filled it in.  I made smaller details to show colors on the water with the paint brush tool.  For the stars, I used the shape tool, the pencil tool, and the normal paint brush.  Once that was finished, I saved the picture and opened it up on a MacBook Pro.  On the MacBook, I opened the picture and used the Annotate feature to add text.  I added text about how reading makes me feel.  Reading gives me a way to escape to different places that I have never been.  The text I picked to use is called KG Shake it Off Chunky style.  I chose to use the KG font because it is free.
